About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines as well as applicable governing documents.

You are well acquainted with the current curriculum and are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching while promoting students' learning and development.

At Lerbäckskolan's middle school, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the grade team for planning, follow-up, assessment, and mentorship. Together, you share and support each other. You will also have a close collaboration with our two special educators.

We are looking for a primary school teacher to teach Swedish, English, and Mathematics in a class in grade 4. In the class, two teachers work together in the theoretical subjects. Your assignment will focus on students in need of support in their knowledge acquisition, so it is advantageous if you have expertise in early reading and writing skills. Together with the other class teacher, you will share mentorship in the class. The position also includes teaching social studies subjects in a class in grade 6. This is a temporary position for the spring term of 2026.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with the qualifications to teach the specified subjects and grades. It is advantageous if you have previous experience teaching in middle or lower grades. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can apply these pedagogically in your daily work.

As an educator, you are a clear leader and actively work to find different ways to create engagement and participation among your students. You are a secure and stable adult role model. Your communication skills are excellent, and you have well-functioning relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

To thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills and an interest in developing yourself and your teaching to meet the diverse needs of all students. We would like to see that you have previous experience applying a language and knowledge-developing approach in your teaching subjects. It is advantageous if you have expertise in early reading and writing skills.
